McNeal
(In Design and Development)
From the ground up, McNeal is an estate like no other. Currently in design and development, this highly custom estate, just moments from Doylestown and New Hope, PA, will function more like a private hotel than a stand-alone residence.
The main home is 160 feet in length with 8,000 square feet of living space and will house 10 cars in the underground garage with a secure private entry into the home. All features of the estate are highly customized and are unique to this project alone. Even installations of more common products will be adjusted to align with the uniqueness of the design and to provide greater depth to all exterior and interior finishes. All walls and surfaces are tailored to specific and careful requirements and all spaces are choreographed. Speaking of choreography, the main residence will boast a private in-home cabaret equipped with a performance stage, green room, and bar.
Amenities to include, underground parking garage, tennis court, pool and spa, three-bedroom guest home, large entertainment barn with gym facilities, horse barn, and gardens with specimen trees and plantings. This estate will truly be magnificent.
The Suites
The Suites was designed and built for an iconic world traveler who wanted a welcoming retreat to host family and friends. The Suites maximizes the available 1,200 square foot space providing comfort while being discretely tucked away.
A covered walkway physically and visually connects The Suites to the main residence. We echoed the design of the main residence in The Suites to achieve an integrated style. The same rich oak floor planks used in the primary residence is repeated in The Suites. Windows are a big feature of this building for both function and form. A 5’ x 8’ south-facing window overlooks the gardens below and a set of square internal windows that form the corner walls of the largest suite creates visual interest as well as bring ample natural light into the room.
A simple material palette – white ceiling and walls and golden-brown patina oak floors – provides a contemporary backdrop for the owner’s decorator to customize the look of each room.
Illuminations
Lighting is one of the most important aspects of home design. One major role of interior lighting is functionality. But, beyond functionality, lighting changes the mood of a room just as it does the perceived size of a room.
Placement and type of lights are important and work in conjunction with color selections, room size, availability of natural light and furniture selection. When properly done, the right combination of lights can transform a home from ordinary to extraordinary.
Artist’s Studio
In the heart of Historic Carversville, PA, this quaint art studio was built to replicate the original barn onsite that unfortunately was not in salvageable condition. The new barn was meant to emulate the original one in size, style, and character. The new building is entirely natural with clear western red cedar siding, authentic natural barn sashes, and a heavy hand-split cedar shake roof.
The interior is clad with white-washed pine boards throughout and houses a fabulous art studio for the artist-owner.

Gentleman’s Farm

If ever there was the perfect Gentlemen’s Farm, this is it. With nearly 30 acres of preserved land in the heart of Bucks County, this estate accommodates the farm lifestyle with class and sophistication. Set far off the road and cut into the hillside, views from the residence provide a glimpse into the past as many generations would have enjoyed the estate’s serenity and landscape.
The oldest section of the house dates to 1752 and had been added onto and modified over the years. The residence and accompanying auxiliary buildings are being designed to accommodate a modern lifestyle while maintaining the traditional elements of the original home.
This Gentlemen’s Farm is one to watch for with anticipation. It will surely set a new standard for today’s living.
Big Barn

The name “Big Barn” is not an effort to be cute. This barn in New Hope, PA, is actually quite big. At 10,000 sqft, this imposing residence boasts four full levels, vaulted ceilings, a four-story elevator, and stands at nearly 40 ft high.
Designed for a young and energetic family, the Big Barn was designed to accommodate all aspects of comfort one would typically only find in luxury boutique hotels. In addition to the Big Barn (main residence), the property has three other buildings and a pool and spa area. Together, the property consists of two kitchens, four bars, a gym, an interior event center (stage, lighting, sound), and an advanced home automation system.
The interior styling is Art Deco but with a hint of edginess to align more with modern aesthetics and the owners’ personalities. The interior structure has been completely transformed with the use of massive steel columns, four-story steel stair towers, and steel and glass interior curtain walls that can move depending on the event of the day. With so much to offer, the Big Barn is truly an entertainment hub.
The Lodge Terrace
The Lodge Terrace was designed to allow seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living and entertainment. The Terrace perimeters are defined on three sides by the main residence, the guest suites, and a 3’ wooden fence to create a spacious yet intimate space. Landscape architectural design features several specimen trees and plantings that flourish in the Bucks County, PA area. Ample lighting lines the length of The Terrace and illuminates the space to provide a gentle glow in the evenings.
Mountain Cabin
(Conceptual)
The is a conceptual design for a multi-unit subdivision in Stowe, VT. Tailored to the high-end second-home market, each home is to have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with a large elevated terrace to take advantage of the views. Each Cabin is to be outfitted with state-of-the-art home automation, an outdoor spa and modern interiors.
The property backs up to preserved mountain forests with abundant trail access and is only minutes from Historic Stowe Village.

During the design phase, in addition to making decisions on fundamental design criteria such as size (square footage, number of bedrooms & bathrooms) and finishes (wall colors, fixtures, countertop material), it’s important to consider other important interior elements such as traffic flow, use of space, furniture placement, and decorations in order to optimize functionality and integrate the entire space into one cohesive style.
We help guide homeowners on elements to consider as they visualize how you will use and enjoy the space that we create for them. Collecting images of things that you love is an effective way to generate ideas that can be synthesized into a unified theme. Whether they are images of whole rooms (kitchen, bedroom, etc.) or just key elements that are important to you (a piece of antique furniture, musical instrument, accent lighting, automation system, courtyard garden, etc.), these images help us understand you in order to echo your personality and enhance your lifestyle.
